As the Workforce / TES Site Supervisor, you will take full ownership of site-level staff planning, administrative compliance, and service-level agreement (SLA) execution. Key Responsibilities

Workforce Planning & On-Site Resource Management

  • Oversee all TES resources based at client sites on a daily basis, ensuring optimal staffing levels and task distribution.

  • Enforce all workplace rules, client policies, procedures, and company business ethics consistently across the deployed workforce.

  • Coordinate training and professional development activities for site employees according to stakeholder requirements.

  • Manage site orders effectively, including the tracking and distribution of PPE, medical assessments, operator licenses (e.g., Forklift), and work permits ahead of expiration dates.

Payroll, Timesheets & Administrative Compliance

  • Coordinate, prepare, and follow up on timesheet collation and accuracy to ensure timeous payroll processing and payslip distribution.

  • Handle all administrative documentation retention in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information (POPI) Act and client policy standards.

  • Prepare and submit detailed weekly and monthly operational reports to all relevant stakeholders in line with SLA mandates.

  • Attend to and resolve administrative queries efficiently to maintain positive stakeholder relations.

Industrial Relations (IR) & Human Resources Support

  • Manage and report all on-site IR and HR-related issues, providing immediate first-line guidance in line with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA) and Labour Relations Act (LRA).

  • Facilitate initial grievance and disciplinary processes on-site in collaboration with the central HR/IR team.

  • Provide thorough, transparent feedback to project stakeholders and manage client expectations professionally.

Health, Safety & Risk Observation

  • Ensure all on-site employees adhere strictly to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and client site safety protocols.

  • Conduct routine risk observations and safety walks across operational areas.

  • Manage and follow up on Injury on Duty (IOD) processes, ensuring required reporting, medical feedback, and documentation are processed correctly.

  • Arrange and attend operational meetings with client representatives and internal leadership as required.

Minimum Requirements

Educational Qualifications

  • Essential: Grade 12 Certificate (Matric)

  • Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or Business Administration

  • Preferred: Certificate in Human Resources or Supervisor Development Programme

  • Preferred: Certificate in Industrial Relations (IR)

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a similar workforce management, TES site supervisory, or operational HR role.

  • Minimum of 2 years of practical Industrial Relations (IR) experience handling site-level labor matters.

  • 2 to 5 years of direct experience in contract management within a TES, recruitment, or outsourced workforce environment.

Technical & Legislative Knowledge

  • Sound knowledge and working experience with South African labor legislation, specifically the BCEA (Basic Conditions of Employment Act) and LRA (Labour Relations Act).

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) for reporting and analytics.
