Key Responsibilities

Store Sales Target & Revenue Growth

• Execute strategic operational plans to exceed monthly store sales targets, profit margins, and sales turnover goals.

• Interact regularly with sales merchandisers, brand representatives, and regional managers to evaluate sales strategies and performance results.

• Drive sales promotions, seasonal launches, roadshows, and shopping centre marketing initiatives to increase foot traffic and basket size.

Team Leadership, Staffing & Performance Management

• Recruit, coach, mentor, counsel, and discipline store staff to build a high-performing retail sales team.

• Conduct daily floor walks to monitor stock levels, initiating warehouse or overstock replenishments and face-ups.

• Implement, monitor, and enforce all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), merchandise guidelines, and housekeeping standards.

• Coordinate third-party service providers, including security guards, cleaning staff, and logistics contractors.

• Maintain clear and accurate records of all inventory transactions, petty cash, and daily sales reconciliations.

Minimum Requirements

Educational Qualifications & Transport

• Matric Certificate (Grade 12) — mandatory baseline requirement

• Own or reliable transport — required to accommodate shift patterns, weekend rosters, and mall operating hours

Work Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ overall experience within a fast-paced retail trading environment — mandatory

• At least 2 years of direct Supervisory or Store Management experience managing teams, stock, and store budgets — mandatory
