Purpose of the Role

The Multi Media Manager is responsible for leading and managing the General Merchandise Department, specifically within the Audio Vision and Large Appliances categories.

The primary objective is to achieve sales and gross profit targets while ensuring operational efficiency, strong stock control, and a superior customer shopping experience.

The role requires a balanced focus on financial performance, merchandising standards, people leadership, and customer service excellence.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric) is required.

A tertiary qualification in Retail Management or a related field will be advantageous.

A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in retail management, preferably within General Merchandise or Electronics, is required.

A proven track record in achieving sales and operational targets is essential.

A strong understanding of merchandising principles and stock management systems is required.

The ability to work retail hours is mandatory.

Sales and Financial Performance Responsibilities

The Multi Media Manager will drive sales and profitability across the Audio Vision and Large Appliances product categories.

Managing departmental operations to achieve or exceed budgets, turnover, and gross profit targets is a core responsibility.
