About the Role
As the Store Manager at PEP Springs Wright Park Crossing, you will lead an energetic retail team to achieve primary business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will cultivate a customer-centric retail environment while maintaining strict operational controls over expenses, stock loss, cash handling, and store presentation.

Sales Driving & Store Standards

Maximize store turnover and hit financial KPIs through exceptional customer service and high operational standards.

Maintain visual merchandising standards, promotional setups, store image, and overall housekeeping.

Ensure optimal stock management, shelf availability, and seasonal stock flow.
Loss Prevention & Risk Mitigation

Minimize stock shrinkage and loss rates by maintaining a healthy, accountable team culture.

Enforce PEP security measures, inventory controls, and strict daily cash handling procedures.

Conduct regular stock counts, audit stockroom processes, and address variance risks promptly.
Cost Control & Administrative Management

Manage store operating costs in line with PEP’s core low-cost business model.

Drive operational efficiencies in store scheduling, energy usage, and resource management.

Oversee all store administration, compliance audits, banking reconciliations, and reporting guidelines accurately.
Team Leadership & Talent Development

Lead, motivate, and mentor store staff (“Dynamos”), creating a high-performance working culture.

Oversee continuous staff training, performance evaluations, and on-the-job coaching.

Maintain general health, safety, and operational safety compliance across the retail premises.
Minimum Requirements – PEP Store Manager
Educational Background

Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (Essential).

Proficiency in English (Essential).

Relevant tertiary qualification (Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Retail, or Logistics) (Advantageous).
Work Experience & Technical Competencies

1 to 2 years of retail management or supervisory leadership experience (Essential).
