Core Values

Customer Service Excellence

AFGRI’s mechanisation retail operation is built on the trust of farmers and agri-businesses who depend on prompt, accurate parts supply to keep their equipment operational. The Specialist Clerk Sales is the frontline of that promise — and every interaction, from greeting the customer to handing over the correct part, must reflect a genuine commitment to service excellence.

Technical Credibility

Customers visiting an AFGRI mechanisation branch expect to be served by someone who knows their products. Whether it is identifying a component from a parts catalogue, advising on compatibility, or flagging availability constraints, the Specialist Clerk Sales must bring genuine technical credibility to every customer interaction. Product knowledge is not optional — it is what differentiates great spares service from ordinary retail.

Integrity & Accuracy

In a spares sales environment, accuracy matters enormously. An incorrect part supplied, a transaction processed in error, or a stock discrepancy left unreported can have real consequences for the customer and the business. AFGRI expects its sales clerks to approach every transaction and every administrative task with precision, honesty, and a commitment to getting it right the first time.

Sales Drive & Commercial Awareness

While customer service is central to this role, it operates within a commercial environment that has targets, margins, and growth objectives. The Specialist Clerk Sales is expected to understand the commercial dimension of their role — actively seeking sales opportunities, applying sound negotiation skills, and contributing meaningfully to the branch’s revenue performance.

Teamwork & Continuous Development

AFGRI is a business that invests in its people. The Specialist Clerk Sales who approaches the role with a desire to learn — deepening product knowledge, improving systems proficiency, and building stronger customer relationships over time — is the kind of individual who will thrive within the AFGRI culture and unlock meaningful career progression.
