Senior Business Analyst (IT)

Job Description

Senwes is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst within the IT department to ensure the successful delivery and continuous improvement of our business systems. In this role, you will be translating the business needs into clear requirements, enabling user adoption, supporting project execution, and ensuring that every system enhancement delivers real business value.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct GAP analyses to identify improvement opportunities in existing systems.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and recommend system enhancements.
• Support the documentation of both existing and newly developed systems to ensure clear, structured, and comprehensive records.
• Provide support to users on existing system functionality and facilitate the adoption of new developments.
• Validate data flows and backend processes, review screen designs, and identify gaps while recommending practical improvements.
• Define project scope, deliverables, and timelines while coordinating activities between business and technical teams.
• Monitor project progress.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: Relevant bachelor’s degree in finance or related field. Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles (preferred).

Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in business analysis or a similar role. Experience with SAP (highly beneficial).

Skills: Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements. Confidence in facilitating discussions between business and technical teams. A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
