Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Technical Consultative Sales & Customer Engagement

• Greet, welcome, and consult incoming customers on the retail floor, identifying their specific project requirements or mechanical difficulties to recommend the correct tools, machinery, and accessories.

• Provide accurate, knowledgeable, and safety-conscious demonstrations of tool operations, torque requirements, power inputs, and warranty conditions.

2. Merchandising Excellence & General Floor Upkeep

• Execute daily product merchandising routines, ensuring shelves are fully packed, heavy equipment is safely displayed, and pricing labels match central database inventories.

• Create a visually striking, well-organized branch environment that encourages browsing and protects customer safety on the floor.

• Keep all demonstration units clean, functional, and accurately positioned to show off the branch’s active tool lines.

3. Inventory Governance & Stock Control Procedures

• Participate actively in routine stocktaking and monthly cycle count processes to maintain 100% database accuracy and identify shrinkage points.

• Process incoming stock shipments at the receiving bay, verifying item barcodes, inspecting packages for transit defects, and updating stock control logs accurately.

• Adhere strictly to the branch’s standard retail procedures regarding cash handling, point-of-sale invoicing, and product return warranties.

• Must possess a valid National Senior Certificate (Matric).

• Excellent, confident verbal and written communication skills to engage with a highly technical consumer base.

• A totally Clear Criminal Record is required for corporate placement.
