About the Role

The Project Manager position is a key strategic role dedicated to driving operational efficiency, route-to-market effectiveness, and commercial growth across Tiger Brands’ Sales & Distribution network. Based onsite at the Germiston facility, the successful candidate will bridge cross-functional teams—including Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, HR, and Procurement—to ensure seamless project implementation and measurable business benefit realization.

This post is tailored for an experienced project management professional with deep FMCG commercial insights, strong governance discipline, and proven change management capability.

Important Operational Requirements: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Commerce, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Project Management, backed by at least 5 years of project management experience (preferably within the FMCG sector). Recognised certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) and postgraduate credentials (Honours/MBA) are highly advantageous.

End-to-End Project Execution & Governance

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic Sales & Distribution projects.

• Establish robust governance frameworks, managing project milestones, budgets, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Prepare executive dashboards, status reports, and presentation packs for steering committee reviews.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Change Management

• Coordinate multidimensional teams across Sales, Supply Chain, IT, Finance, HR, Procurement, and external vendors.

• Drive structured change management plans to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies, route-to-market strategies, and operating models.

• Monitor post-implementation business benefit realization, embedding continuous improvement methodologies across the commercial value chain.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Commerce, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or related field.

• Recognised professional accreditation (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is advantageous.

• Postgraduate qualification (MBA or Honours Degree) is an added advantage.

Experience & Domain Knowledge

• Minimum of 5 years of dedicated project management experience, preferably within an FMCG or commercial distribution environment.
