Key Responsibilities
Cleaning of Office Premises
- Clean all areas of the Compensation Fund including offices, corridors, boardrooms, reception areas, ablution facilities, kitchens, and common areas to a consistently high standard of hygiene and presentation.
- Dust, wipe, and clean all surfaces including desks, shelves, windowsills, and office furniture throughout all assigned work areas on a daily basis.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and polish floors in all areas using appropriate cleaning materials and methods for each floor surface type.
- Clean windows, doors, and walls to remove marks, dust, and grime, ensuring a clean and professional appearance is maintained across the facility at all times.
- Clean and maintain ablution facilities and restrooms, including toilets, basins, and floors, and ensure all consumables such as toilet paper, soap, and hand towels are restocked throughout the day.
- Clean kitchens and tea stations, including sinks, surfaces, appliances, and utensils, maintaining hygienic food preparation and refreshment areas at all times.
Waste Removal & Disposal
- Remove all rubbish and waste from offices, boardrooms, kitchens, restrooms, and common areas on a regular basis throughout each working day.
- Place all waste in the approved outside bins in accordance with the Compensation Fund’s waste management and disposal procedures.
- Separate waste correctly where recycling or specific disposal streams are required, in compliance with applicable environmental and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
- Monitor waste levels throughout the day and ensure bins are emptied before they become full or unsightly.
- Report any waste management concerns or irregular waste disposal activity to the relevant supervisor without delay.
Meeting Support Services (Food Service Aid)
- Provide meeting support services for the Compensation Fund, including the setup and clearing of meeting rooms before and after scheduled meetings and events.
- Prepare and serve refreshments, beverages, and food items for meetings and official functions as directed, ensuring presentation meets the required standard.
- Ensure all crockery, glassware, and serving equipment used for meetings is cleaned, sanitised, and correctly stored after each function.
