Key Duties & Responsibilities
The appointed Cleaner will execute routine facility cleaning and hygiene maintenance across departmental buildings in Pilgrim’s Rest:

Surface & Floor Maintenance: Clean and maintain floors, offices, toilets, meeting rooms, and kitchen areas.

Sanitation & Hygiene: Sweep, dust, vacuum, mop, and disinfect surfaces, counters, and sanitary fittings.

Waste Management: Empty office bins, collect refuse, and dispose of waste in designated external collection areas.

Equipment & Supply Management: Maintain cleaning materials and equipment in good working condition; report broken machines and request stock replenishments from supervisors as required.
Minimum Requirements & Competencies
Qualifications & Experience

Grade 10 Certificate (or equivalent recognized school report).

Competencies & Knowledge Base

Practical knowledge of cleaning using detergents, chemicals, and basic sanitation agents.
