About the Role
The Cashier at the Healthwise Hospital Coffee Shop plays an essential front-facing role in driving daily retail sales, establishing warm customer contact, and maintaining smooth operational standards in a fast-paced healthcare environment in East London. In this dual-capacity role, you will be responsible for handling till operations—processing cash and card payments rapidly and accurately—while also assisting in the preparation and attractive presentation of high-quality light meals, sandwiches, and fast-food menu items.

Cash Management & Till Operations

Execute till operations quickly, efficiently, and accurately, processing both cash and digital/card transactions without errors.

Maintain strict adherence to all internal cash handling procedures, loss prevention guidelines, and cash management policies to ensure full accountability of company funds.

Assist management in implementing, auditing, and enhancing internal unit controls, specifically regarding cash float management and till balancing.
