Key Performance Areas & Duties
1. Auxiliary Support Worker (Arts)
-
Program Coordination: Coordinate the facilitation and implementation of community arts and culture programs; foster an enabling environment for training and development.

Reporting: Submit monthly plans of execution for assigned tasks alongside monthly, quarterly, and progress reports.

Logistics & Equipment: Administer the storage, maintenance, and safe transportation of departmental arts and culture equipment.

Service Provider Monitoring: Receive training and assist in the acquisition and monitoring of service providers for integrated arts programs.
2. Auxiliary Support Worker (Sport)

Hub Administration: Render general administrative tasks, coordinate sport activities implemented in regional hubs, and respond to portfolio queries.

Data & Audits: Develop and maintain community databases, conduct community audits, and collate activity statistics and data for monthly reporting.

Equipment & Inventory: Category, maintain, order, and inventory sporting and gaming equipment; compile monthly reports on damaged items and coordinate repairs/restoration.

Facility & Event Logistics: Ensure indoor and outdoor sporting areas are maintained and ready for use; assist in arranging workshops, obtaining coaches/assistants, and communicating with the public during sporting events.

Grade 12 Certificate (Matric) or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
