About the Role
As an Administrator in the Administration department at PathCare Eugene Marais, you will play a crucial role in managing patient account transactions, corporate collections, and customer correspondence.
You will execute telephonic collections, manage complex deceased estate files, process incoming and outgoing documentation, and maintain complete 360 debt recovery cycles. Working alongside administrative team leaders and medical staff, you will ensure high financial accuracy, meet monthly performance targets, and uphold PathCare’s SANAS-accredited operational standards and HPCSA ethical guidelines.

Key Responsibilities of an Administrator
Account Processing & Corporate Collections

Conduct telephonic debt collection calls with patients, medical schemes, and corporate clients.

Process account transactions accurately and resolve financial queries in a timely manner.

Manage documentation and specialized administrative procedures related to deceased estates.

Ensure full execution and tracking of 360 debt collection cycles.
Communication & Daily Administration

Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence across internal and external communication channels.

Compile and submit accurate daily work reports to administrative leadership.

Escalate non-conformance issues, account disputes, and complex cases to higher authority levels.

Attend team meetings, training workshops, and developmental programs at the PathCare Training Academy.

Assist with ad-hoc administrative functions to support smooth branch operations.
Minimum Requirements – Administrator
Educational Background & Skills

Grade 12 / Matric Qualification (Essential).

High level of literacy and numerical proficiency (Essential).

Computer literate with practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel and basic spreadsheet operations (Essential).

Fluency in English with a solid understanding of Afrikaans (Essential).
Work Experience

Relevant experience in a Call Centre and Corporate Collections environment (Essential).
