About the Role

The Workshop Manager is responsible for overseeing all workshop operations, ensuring agricultural equipment is serviced, repaired, and maintained efficiently.

Key Responsibilities of a Workshop Manager

Workshop Operations & Supervision

  • Supervise all workshop activities, including scheduling and workflow control

Technical Maintenance & Quality Control

  • Ensure agricultural equipment is repaired and maintained to high standards

Minimum Requirements – Workshop Manager

Education:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) — essential
  • Qualified Mechanisation Technician — essential

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a qualified mechanisation technician
  • At least 3 years’ experience with John Deere equipment — essential
  • Workshop administration or management experience — advantageous

Technical Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of agricultural machinery
  • Understanding of workshop operations and technical systems
  • Valid driver’s licence — essential
