Position Overview
Fidelity ADT is recruiting Telesales Cold Calling Agents to join its Midrand-based contact centre on a fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for energetic, target-driven individuals with a passion for sales and customer engagement.
The successful candidates will focus on outbound cold calling and dialler campaigns to secure legitimate sales or sales appointments, including reconnections, upgrades, relocations, link-ups, and new installations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Call Centre Operations
- Conduct outbound cold calls daily using provided call lists or automated dialler systems
- Spend approximately 90% of the working day on outbound calling
- Secure confirmed sales or sales appointments in line with daily and monthly targets
- Handle inbound calls and assist customers with product and service enquiries
- Transfer calls to relevant departments when required
Customer Service & Administration
- Verify customer and prospect information accurately
- Handle customer complaints within scope or escalate where necessary
- Maintain accurate records and meet quality assurance (QA) standards
- Achieve required strike rates, call volumes, and conversion targets
- Support team members with daily contact centre operational activities
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Post-matric qualification (advantageous)
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience
- Minimum 1 year cold calling experience within a sales call centre
- At least 1 year administrative experience in a client-focused environment
- Computer literacy in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
