About the Role
As the Store Manager for Clicks Vredendal No. 2, you will hold full operational and financial accountability for the branch, leading the store operations team to achieve sales targets, optimize net profits, and ensure strict regulatory and brand compliance.
You will manage store profit and loss (P&L) statements, monitor daily and weekly sales performance, control operational costs, and minimize shrinkage. Additionally, you will oversee staff scheduling in line with labor models, ensure seamless integration between front-shop retail, pharmacy, and clinic teams, and deliver a superior customer shopping experience that builds brand loyalty.

Financial Management & Sales Optimization

Drive store financial performance by tracking daily sales targets, analyzing P&L statements, and executing proactive sales strategies.

Control store operational expenditure, stock holding, and shrinkage to maximize profit margins.

Operational Efficiency & Merchandising Standards

Manage all in-store operational activities including stock control, risk management, general housekeeping, and compliance audits.

People Leadership & HR Administration

Educational Background & Qualifications

Grade 12 / Matric Certificate with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics and 50% in English (Essential).

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Retail Management, Finance, Pharmacy, or a business-related discipline (Essential for external applicants).
Work Experience & Financial Acumen

Minimum of 5 years’ store management experience in a retail or FMCG store operations environment (Essential).
