Ackermans is seeking a driven and results-oriented Store Manager for its Bredasdorp location in Cape Town. About the Role

The Store Manager serves as both a brand custodian and a business leader within the store environment. This role requires an energetic self-starter who can implement operational strategies effectively while driving team performance and maintaining high customer service standards.

The position requires a leader who understands retail dynamics, including merchandise management, stock control, and cost control. The Store Manager must ensure that the store operates efficiently while maintaining brand integrity and delivering consistent results aligned with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements

A minimum of two years’ retail experience is required, including at least one year in a supervisory and/or management position.

The successful candidate must demonstrate outstanding merchandise management skills as well as strong stock and cost control capabilities.

The capacity to maintain high store standards is essential.

A proven ability to influence and lead a team is required.

The candidate must be energetic and a self-starter.

Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are required. Competence in a second official language will be a definite advantage.

A Grade 12 qualification or equivalent is required.

Further qualifications related to retail or business will be advantageous.
