Position Overview
Job Title: Site Foreman – Installation Engineering
Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
Employment Type: Permanent
Division: CFW Environmental
CFW Industries is seeking a proactive and experienced Site Foreman to lead one of our two site installation teams. The role involves overseeing ventilation installation projects, coordinating with mechanical engineers, and ensuring project milestones, quality, and safety standards are met. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing company and take on a leadership role in installation engineering.
Key Responsibilities

Manage daily site operations for ventilation installation projects.

Lead, supervise, and coordinate a dedicated site installation team.

Ensure compliance with project milestones, quality standards, and safety protocols.

Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers, project managers, production managers, and draftsmen.

Conduct site visits with engineers and draftsmen to understand project requirements before installation.

Plan projects, including hiring installation equipment such as cranes, cherry pickers, scissor jacks, and scaffolding.

Prepare and maintain safety files for each installation, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards.

Monitor and report project progress, resolving on-site issues promptly.

Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders and subcontractors.

Implement efficient solutions to expedite project completion without compromising quality.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:

Matric certificate (tertiary qualification in mechanical or engineering disciplines is advantageous)

Proven experience in site management for mechanical, HVAC, or industrial projects

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering plans

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites
