Motus Toyota Bryanston, operating within the Toyota & Hino business unit of Motus Corporation, is currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative: Used Vehicles Sales to join its dynamic dealership team in Randburg, Gauteng.
This permanent position reports directly to the Manager: Used Vehicles Sales and is ideally suited to an experienced vehicle sales professional who has a strong understanding of the automotive retail environment and a proven ability to deliver excellent customer service while consistently achieving sales targets.
About the Role
The Sales Representative: Used Vehicles Sales plays a critical role in driving dealership performance through the effective sale of quality pre-owned vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full sales process, from lead generation and customer engagement through to deal closure and after-sales relationship management.
This role requires a proactive, target-driven individual who is confident in engaging customers, understands compliance within the motor retail industry, and is passionate about delivering a professional and trustworthy sales experience.
Key Responsibilities
Customer and Sales Management

Engage with customers professionally and build long-term relationships based on trust and service excellence.

Manage the full used vehicle sales process from enquiry to final delivery.

Understand customer needs and recommend suitable used vehicle options.

Manage customer expectations to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.

Ensure accurate completion of all sales documentation in line with dealership policies.
Sales Performance and Business Development

Develop and grow the used vehicle sales business to achieve set monthly sales targets.

Actively source new business opportunities through cold calling and lead generation.

Drive specific sales strategies to retain and grow the existing customer base.

Maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers to ensure consistent sales performance.

Deliver results within budget while meeting Customer Experience (CE) standards.
Industry Knowledge and Compliance

Maintain a sound understanding of dealership policies and procedures.

Ensure all sales transactions comply with industry regulations and internal compliance standards.

Stay informed about competitor offerings and market trends within the motor industry.

Apply knowledge of Toyota South Africa structures and procedures to enhance sales effectiveness.

Support dealership compliance requirements throughout the sales process.
Marketing and Promotions

Participate in dealership marketing initiatives and promotional activities.

Promote used vehicle specials and dealership campaigns to customers.

Leverage dealership marketing tools to increase lead conversion.

Support showroom activities to enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum of Grade 12 (Matric).

Valid driver’s licence.

Clear criminal record.

Minimum of 3 years’ sales executive experience, preferably within the motor industry.

Proven track record of meeting and exceeding regular monthly sales targets.

Computer literacy is essential.

Experience in cold calling and developing a client base.
