This isn’t a sit-back-and-wait-for-leads kind of role, what this role is, is a build, grow, and win role.

AIB is looking for a Sales Representative who can take ownership of dealer relationships, drive consistent sales, and turn opportunities into real, measurable results. You’ll be the person on the ground, building trust, creating momentum, and making things happen.

What you’ll be stepping into

  • You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of motor dealerships, with a clear focus on growth, performance, and relationship strength.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealership teams and key stakeholders
  • Drive sales of motor and short-term insurance products through dealer channels
  • Generate and convert leads into active policies
  • Conduct regular dealer visits for support, training, and performance alignment
  • Deliver product training and ensure dealers are confident in offering solutions
  • Monitor sales performance and ensure targets are consistently met
  • Ensure all activity aligns with compliance and regulatory standards
  • This role sits where relationships, sales, and execution meet and where your impact is visible every day.

We’re looking for someone who knows how to sell, build relationships, and stay accountable for results

Requirements

  • Matric | NQF level 12 essential
  • Diploma or degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • RE5 and FAIS credits are advantageous
  • 2–5 years’ experience in insurance sales or a similar environment
  • Exposure to motor dealerships or automotive finance is a strong advantage
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Organised, disciplined, and able to manage multiple dealer accounts
  • Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle (essential)
  • Willingness to travel regularly between dealerships
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans
