Position Overview

The Sales Consultant – Hygiene & Pest Control is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities in the hygiene, pest control, and interior plant services industry. The role involves building strong client relationships, driving revenue growth, and achieving sales targets while reporting to the Executive Head: Business and Market Development.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in hygiene, pest control, and interior plant services.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Maintain a high level of market intelligence and knowledge of competitor activity.

Client Relationship Management

  • Understand and interpret client needs to provide tailored solutions.

  • Provide exceptional service to retain clients and encourage repeat business.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Performance & Knowledge Management

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Servest’s hygiene and pest control products and services.

  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.


Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate.

  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.

  • 5+ years of sales experience in hygiene, pest control, interior plants, or related services.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a target-driven environment.

  • Strong planning, organisational, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently under pressure and as a team player.

  • Fully computer literate.

  • High level of professional commitment and willingness to occasionally make personal sacrifices to meet deadlines.
