Position Overview

The Crew Tracker is responsible for the real-time coordination and management of Airlink’s operational roster, ensuring that all flight crew resources are efficiently allocated and compliant with aviation regulations. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can work under pressure while maintaining high levels of accuracy.

The successful candidate will act as a central point of communication between flight operations, crew scheduling, and dispatch teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day operational continuity and immediate problem-solving when disruptions occur.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily crew rosters and ensure optimal allocation of flight and cabin crew.

  • Track and update real-time changes to operational schedules, including flight delays, crew sickness, or disruptions.

  • Ensure compliance with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and company regulations regarding crew duty times and rest periods.

  • Communicate effectively with flight crew, operations control, and scheduling teams to resolve issues quickly.

  • Maintain accurate records of crew movements, substitutions, and operational adjustments.

  • Support the Crew Control and Flight Operations departments in maintaining operational efficiency.

  • Provide daily reports to the Operations Duty Manager on crew availability and performance.

  • Anticipate potential roster conflicts and implement proactive solutions.

  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism when managing sensitive crew information.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in operational planning and crew coordination.


Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in flight operations, crew scheduling, or airline control centers.

  • Strong understanding of aviation regulations and crew rostering principles.

  • Excellent computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, and scheduling systems.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by operational needs.
