The Box Room Controller role within Fidelity Cash Solutions is responsible for managing consignments, supporting vault room operations, and ensuring accurate handling, distribution, and administration of security-sensitive items. Duties include scanning consignments, balancing vault activities, sorting consignments, and maintaining documentation and administrative records.

Key Responsibilities of a Box Room Controller
Vault Room Operations
- Prepare and support daily vault room duties.
- Assist with vault room scheduling and coordination.
- Balance vault operations and ensure secure lock-up procedures.
- Maintain operational compliance within the vault area.
- Support secure cash handling procedures.
Consignment Handling & Distribution
- Receive consignments from CIT teams.
- Distribute consignments accurately and securely.
- Sort consignments according to operational requirements.
- Ensure consignments are processed correctly.
- Assist with secure movement and handling procedures.
Scanning & Documentation
- Scan consignments accurately into operational systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation and administration records.
- Ensure proper tracking of consignments.
- Support operational reporting requirements.
- Verify accuracy of operational information.
Security & Compliance
- Conduct searching duties where required.
- Maintain security compliance within operational areas.
- Follow company security procedures consistently.
- Ensure operational integrity and risk reduction.
- Report irregularities and operational concerns immediately.
Operational Support & Teamwork
- Work closely with branch and CIT teams.
- Support operational efficiency across the branch.

Minimum Requirements – Box Room Controller
Educational Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / Matric advantageous
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year experience within the security industry or similar role (essential)
- Cash solutions or vault operations experience advantageous
Licences:
- PSIRA Grade C accreditation advantageous
Technical Skills:
- Computer literacy (essential)
- Basic administration and documentation skills
- Consignment scanning and operational system usage advantageous
Knowledge Requirements:
