Position Overview

TWK Agri is seeking a Sales Specialist for the Bethal, Mpumalanga branch. The successful candidate will drive sales of animal health products, provide expert guidance to clients, and contribute to maintaining TWK Agri’s reputation as a trusted resource in animal health.

This role combines technical expertise, sales acumen, and exceptional customer service, ideal for a professional passionate about agriculture and animal health solutions.


Key Responsibilities

Sales and Client Management

  • Drive sales of TWK Agri’s animal health products to achieve set targets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, veterinarians, and livestock producers.

  • Conduct regular client visits to assess needs and recommend suitable solutions.

  • Organize and participate in promotional activities, workshops, and training events.

Technical Advisory and Support

  • Provide expert advice on animal health products, including vaccines and supplements.

  • Translate technical information into client-friendly guidance.

  • Resolve product-related inquiries promptly and professionally.

Operational Duties

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to support business growth and operational efficiency.


Minimum Requirements

Essential:

  • Matric / Grade 12 certificate.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, or related field.

  • AVCASA certificate.

  • Minimum 3 years’ sales experience in agricultural or animal health sectors.

  • Strong knowledge of animal health products and agricultural practices.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to meet sales targets and provide client-focused technical advice.

  • Proficient in MS Office.

  • Valid Code 08 driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Advantageous:

  • Bilingual in Afrikaans & English.

  • Previous experience in customer relationship management within the agricultural sector.
