Position Overview

Adendorff Machinery Mart is seeking a Junior Stock Administrator for the Aeroton, Johannesburg branch. The successful candidate will form part of the traveling stock audit team, visiting branches across Gauteng to ensure accurate stock counts, maintain product knowledge, and support various departments.

This role is ideal for a flexible, motivated individual with attention to detail, capable of handling administrative duties and contributing to sales, warehousing, and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

Stock Audits and Inventory Management

  • Conduct weekly stock audits across multiple branches.

  • Ensure accurate stock counts and investigate variances.

  • Maintain knowledge of stock codes, part numbers, and company standards.

  • Assist in continuous improvement of inventory processes and product knowledge.

Administrative Support

  • Support the sales, warehousing, and other departments as needed.

  • Maintain accurate records of audits and stock reports.

  • Participate in self-development initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge.

Operational Duties

  • Travel to outlying branches to support stock audits and operations.

  • Promote accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company procedures.

  • Uphold a professional and team-oriented approach at all times.


Minimum Requirements

Essential:

  • Senior Certificate (Matric).

  • Valid Code B driver’s license.

  • Own reliable vehicle essential.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Flexible, motivated, and able to work independently.

Advantageous:

  • Mathematics as a subject at school level.

  • Previous exposure to stock control or retail administration.
