About the Role
As a Chicken Prepper for our new Pedros store in Pinetown, you will be a core contributor to our back-of-house kitchen operations, preparing raw chicken to exact brand specifications. Working as part of our frontline store launch team, you will ensure that every batch of chicken is properly cleaned, portioned, marinated, and breaded following approved recipes and safety guidelines.
This role requires strict attention to detail, speed, and uncompromising hygiene discipline. You will manage cold storage temperatures, execute First-In, First-Out (FIFO) stock rotation to eliminate food waste, sanitize prep equipment, and support grillers and kitchen cooks during heavy customer rushes.
Please note: Candidates must possess a strong commitment to food safety, the ability to follow standard operating procedures consistently, and full availability to work flexible shift rotas including weekends and public holidays.

Food Preparation & Recipe Adherence

Clean, cut, portion, marinate, season, and bread raw chicken strictly according to Pedros recipe procedures and portion standards.

Hygiene, Food Safety & Stock Control
