About the Role
The Health Consultant plays a key advisory and promotional role within the Dis-Chem Victory Park Health Department. Serving as a trusted wellness advisor, you will engage with shoppers, provide expert guidance on vitamins, supplements, and sports nutrition, manage stock facing and shelf displays, and ensure promotional broadsheet items are well stocked to meet sales goals.
This post requires a passionate, customer-focused salesperson with a Matric certificate, proven sales experience in vitamins or health products, basic computer literacy, and the physical stamina to manage active retail floor displays.
Important Hiring Requirements: Candidates must possess a Grade 12 / Matric Certificate and a minimum of 6 months’ sales experience in a vitamins or health environment. Customer Consultation & Sales Promotion

Engage with customers on the retail floor, providing professional advice regarding vitamins, mineral supplements, sports nutrition, and health foods.

Actively promote and sell Dis-Chem Health Focus products to achieve monthly team, brand, and vendor sales targets.

Explain product features, benefits, and usage instructions to customers, maintaining up-to-date knowledge on new health product launches.

Department Merchandising & Stock Management

Maintain clean, fully stocked, and properly faced-up merchandise displays across the Health Focus department.

Monitor stock levels, conduct stock counts, manage weekly returns, and report any price discrepancies immediately to store management.

Assist with back-shopping and stock rotation to ensure smooth daily department operations.
Educational Qualifications

Grade 12 / Matric Certificate.

Work Experience & Competencies
