About the Role

The PRS General Worker position at Tiger Brands plays a pivotal role in maintaining inventory accuracy, stock traceability, and continuous production throughput within the Hennenman operational site. The successful candidate will blend physical floor operations with digital stock capturing on Oracle systems, ensuring every pallet and product movement aligns with company quality standards.

This post is tailored for a highly numerate individual holding a Matric certificate, strong computer skills, and a commitment to food safety and operational excellence.

Important Operational Requirements: Candidates must possess a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate with excellent mathematical and numerical skills. Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or FMCG setting, alongside proficiency in computer systems (like Oracle or stock tracking software), is highly advantageous.

Stock Control & System Recording

• Capture and process production entries and stock movements timeously on Oracle management systems.

• Perform daily shift reconciliations, stock counts, and variance investigations to eliminate system inaccuracies.

• Compile and deliver accurate production data and inventory reports to Team Leaders and Supervisors.

• Assist with cycle counts, annual stock audits, and warehouse inventory checks.

Pallet Management & Material Handling

• Prepare, stretch-wrap, and label finished product pallets according to strict company specifications.

• Attach all required compliance, quality, and batch traceability documentation to outgoing pallets.

• Support floor teams with the receiving, staging, movement, and dispatch of warehouse stock.

Compliance, Safety & Operational Hygiene

• Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management System rules.

• Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations, maintaining a clean workspace and wearing required PPE.

• Report any food safety, product quality, or physical safety hazards immediately to management.

Educational Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate (Essential).

• Strong mathematical aptitude and numerical literacy.

Experience & Technical Literacy

• Previous experience in an FMCG, manufacturing, logistics, or production environment will be advantageous.

• Computer literacy with experience using stock control software (e.g., Oracle) or data entry systems.

• High level of numerical accuracy, analytical problem-solving, and attention to detail.

• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual warehouse and general operational tasks.
