Position Overview
The Facilities Manager will oversee all aspects of accommodation and facility operations at Mortimer SAV. This hands-on role requires leadership and operational expertise to ensure service excellence, compliance, and cost efficiency across maintenance, housekeeping, and accommodation services.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multidisciplinary teams, controlling budgets, and ensuring adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, while driving continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- 
Manage the day-to-day operations of facility and accommodation services to meet contractual and service level requirements.
 - 
Oversee maintenance, housekeeping, and accommodation services to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.
 - 
Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team to achieve operational and financial objectives.
 - 
Monitor budgets, control costs, and drive profitability through efficient resource utilization.
 - 
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and prepare for audits.
 - 
Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
 - 
Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence in facilities management.
 - 
Report on operational performance, key metrics, and recommendations for efficiency enhancements.
 - 
Collaborate with stakeholders to support strategic objectives and client expectations.
 
Minimum Requirements
- 
Relevant tertiary qualification in Hospitality, Facilities Management, or Business Management.
 - 
2–5 years of experience in facilities, accommodation, or operations management.
 - 
Strong leadership and people management skills.
 - 
Proven track record in financial management, budget control, and cost optimization.
 - 
Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
 - 
Proficient in computer applications and administrative processes.
 - 
Experience in remote facilities management environments is advantageous.
