About the Role

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for building and managing the top of the sales funnel through research, cold outreach, and lead qualification.

This is a high-impact role where you will identify potential sellers, maintain relationships, and ensure a steady pipeline of qualified opportunities for the company’s deal team.


Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Research

  • Identify mobile home park owners using research tools and databases
  • Build and maintain a structured database of 1,000–1,500 contacts
  • Ensure all data is accurate, up-to-date, and well-organised
  • Conduct market research studies to support business strategy

Outbound Sales & Prospecting

  • Conduct cold calls and email outreach to potential sellers
  • Use scripts to qualify leads and assess selling interest
  • Maintain consistent follow-ups with prospects on a 90-day cycle
  • Escalate qualified leads to senior team members

Pipeline Management

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and reliable sales database
  • Track all interactions, notes, and follow-up schedules
  • Ensure no opportunities are missed through consistent engagement

Market Research & Reporting

  • Conduct lot rent studies by contacting property owners
  • Gather and record market data accurately
  • Assist with sales comparison studies and reports
  • Support preparation of deal documents when required

Performance Expectations (KPIs)

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Contacting 150+ property owners per week
  • Generating at least 1 qualified seller lead per week
  • Maintaining a clean and updated database
  • Completing research reports accurately and on time
  • Consistent follow-up without supervision

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this role, applicants must meet the following:

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Confident phone presence for cold calling
  • Experience in sales, research, or lead generation (advantageous)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and productivity tools
  • Ability to manage large datasets accurately
