About the Role
The Systems Support Analyst is responsible for providing first-line and second-line IT support across business systems and applications.

The role works closely with senior analysts, supervisors, vendors, and project teams to maintain system stability and improve IT service delivery.
Key Responsibilities of a Systems Support Analyst
Service Desk & Incident Management
- Respond to and resolve service desk tickets within SLA targets.
- Troubleshoot application errors, system performance issues, and user problems.
- Escalate complex or unresolved incidents to senior analysts or supervisors.
System Monitoring & Maintenance
- Perform routine system checks and preventative maintenance.
- Conduct initial incident analysis and identify root causes.
- Support system stability through monitoring and proactive checks.
User Support & Communication
- Provide clear communication to users regarding incidents and resolutions.
- Offer guidance on system usage and basic troubleshooting steps.

Minimum Requirements – Systems Support Analyst
Education:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent — essential
- Diploma or Certificate in IT / Computer Science — advantageous
Experience:
- 1+ year IT or Systems Support experience — essential
- Service desk or support desk experience — essential
Technical Skills:
- Understanding of service desk tools and SLA management — essential
- Basic troubleshooting of applications and systems
- Familiarity with IT support processes
Work Conditions:
