About the Role

Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Sales Representative

Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Develop strategies to grow the customer base and increase sales performance.
  • Identify and pursue new revenue streams and opportunities.
  • Promote the Auto Pedigree brand in all customer interactions.

Customer Engagement & Service

  • Engage customers both telephonically and face-to-face.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles.
  • Manage customer expectations to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Handle customer escalations and provide timely feedback.

Sales Process & Deal Closing

  • Negotiate terms of agreements and successfully close sales.
  • Accompany customers on test drives and ensure all documentation is collected beforehand.
  • Maintain strong follow-up processes to secure deals and build relationships.

Showroom & Product Knowledge

  • Assist with showroom setup and vehicle displays.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of vehicle features, capabilities, and specifications.
  • Stay informed about market trends and customer behaviour.

Minimum Requirements – Sales Representative: Vehicles

Education:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) — essential

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service and sales — essential
  • Proven sales track record — essential
  • Automotive or relevant industry experience — advantageous

Licensing & Transport:

  • Valid Code 08 driver’s licence (unendorsed) — essential
  • Own transport — essential

Technical Skills:

  • Computer literacy — essential
  • Understanding of retail compliance — advantageous
  • Knowledge of Auto Pedigree products and services — desirable

Additional Advantages:

  • Knowledge of local languages spoken in the Randburg area
