Qualified Millwright Needed In Centurion, Gauteng

Salary: R24 800 per month Depending on Experience and Skills.

Millwright Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Reading diagrams and schematic drawings
• Installing stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
• Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions
• Adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts
• Operating machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machinery
• Ensuring that operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications, and installations
• Keeping accurate maintenance reports
• performing other routine maintenance work on machinery
• Experience using PLC’s is an asset
• Experience with Mig and Stick welding
• Conducting corrective maintenance (repairs, replacements) on mechanical equipment as needed;
• Identifying equipment deficiencies, and troubleshooting issues;
• Completing daily reports and Work Orders;
• Assisting in scoping and planning of new work;
• Repairing, servicing, and reconditioning equipment per trade code and industry design specification requirements;
• Recording all task-related information as required to complete planning and work order requirements.

Requirements:
• Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills allowing one to
work effectively in a diverse working environment
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Working knowledge of safety standards of equipment
• Experience using PLC’s is an asset
• Experience of Mig and Stick welding
• Ability to work independently without supervision and meet tight
deadlines.
• Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and
professionally at all times
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Physical ability to lift heavy items safely.

Qualifications:
5 Years Working experience in the position of Millwright is required.
• Valid Certified Millwright.
• Millwright Trade Test completed.
• Red Seal Certified Millwright qualification.
• N4 Technical Qualification:
– N4 Mathematics or
– N4 Engineering Science or
– N4 Mechanotechnics or
– N4 Supervisory Management
• Knowledge of conveyor belts, pumps, vibrating screens, jaw &
cone & high pressure grinding crushers, Apron feeders & all
other process plants mechanical equipment;
• Knowledge of condition monitoring systems;
• Basic welding skills & experience;
• Ability to operate within MS Office
• Proven commitment to Safety, Health, and Environmental
Standards;
• Willingness to work at a remote mining site and in a cross-.
cultural work environment.
