This part-time opportunity is aimed at entry-level candidates who have cashier or till-operation experience and who are eager to work in a fast-paced retail environment that values accuracy, integrity, and excellent customer service.

The purpose of this talent pool is to ensure that Dis-Chem has a readily available group of pre-screened candidates who can be considered for future casual cashier opportunities as they arise. Cash Handling and Security Compliance

Casual Cashiers are responsible for managing cash flow accurately and securely. This includes ensuring that all money is kept safely inside the till, cash is placed in the drop safe according to Dis-Chem SOPs, and daily takings are handled confidentially and discussed only with management.
