Position Overview
AFGRI Equipment is seeking an experienced and dedicated Technician to join their Marble Hall team.
This permanent role is responsible for repairing, servicing, and maintaining agricultural machinery and related equipment, ensuring operational continuity for clients and contributing to the high-standard technical support AFGRI is known for.

Key Responsibilities
As a Technician, your duties will include:
1. Mechanical Repairs & Maintenance

Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on tractors and agricultural equipment.

Provide high-quality technical service within required turnaround times.

Diagnose faults, conduct inspections, and implement corrective measures.
2. Customer Service & Relationship Building
-
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients.

Ensure customer complaints and queries are resolved swiftly and professionally.

Deliver excellent customer service aligned with AFGRI standards.
3. Job Card & Administration Management
-
Update and maintain accurate job cards for all repairs and maintenance.

Provide timeous feedback on repairs, costs, and equipment status.

Ensure paperwork is compliant with internal processes.
4. Safety & Compliance
-
Maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Use prescribed safety equipment and follow Health & Safety regulations.

Ensure compliance with company safety policies and relevant legislation.
Minimum Requirements
Education & Training
-
N2 Qualified Technician (essential)
Work Experience
-
Minimum 3 years of relevant technical experience, including apprenticeship training.
-
Experience in agricultural machinery repair is highly advantageous.

Valid driver’s licence

Strong product knowledge: agricultural machinery, tractors & equipment
