Position Overview
Hyundai Northcliff is looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Technician to perform diagnostic checks, repairs, and routine maintenance on vehicles. The role is highly hands-on and requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct servicing and mechanical repairs on Hyundai vehicles

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using approved diagnostic tools

Assist in installing new systems and components when required

Maintain accurate service documentation and job cards

Ensure compliance with workshop safety procedures and standards

Work collaboratively with the service team to ensure fast turnaround times

Support continuous improvement of service operations and customer satisfaction
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 / Matric
-
3–5 years’ experience as a qualified motor vehicle technician
-
Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
-
Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
-
Valid driver’s licence
-
Good communication and teamwork skills
-
Ability to work independently under time pressure
