Position Overview
The Specialist Service Advisor (Technical) plays a vital role in the dealership’s service operations, acting as the bridge between customers and the workshop. This position requires strong diagnostic understanding, technical knowledge, excellent administrative skills, and the ability to communicate complex mechanical issues in a simple, reassuring, and professional way.
You will be responsible for guiding customers through the servicing and repair process, ensuring a seamless and transparent experience from booking to handover.
Key Responsibilities

Welcome customers professionally and create a positive service experience.

Assess and interpret customer concerns accurately to determine their vehicle service or repair requirements.

Provide informed technical advice on maintenance, repairs, and recommended service procedures.

Prepare accurate cost estimates and clearly communicate pricing, timelines, and repair scope.

Schedule service appointments, monitor job progress, and provide timely updates to customers.

Liaise closely with the workshop and technician teams to ensure efficient task flow and high-quality outcomes.

Manage follow-ups, queries, and after-service customer care.

Handle complaints professionally and work toward optimal customer satisfaction.

Ensure accurate documentation, job cards, and service tracking in line with dealership processes.
Minimum Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership.

Strong technical background in vehicle repair, servicing, and diagnostics.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, pressure-driven environment.

Computer literacy, including dealership systems for service order management.

Valid driver’s licence (mandatory).
