Position Overview
Job Title: Shift Leader – Poetry
Location: Eastgate, Johannesburg, Gauteng
Employment Type: Permanent
Division: Poetry

Minimum Experience: Associate
The Shift Leader is responsible for managing day-to-day store operations, leading the sales team, and ensuring that the store achieves its turnover and profit targets while delivering exceptional customer service. This role is ideal for experienced retail professionals with leadership skills who thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing all aspects of store operations.

Maximise sales turnover and profitability while minimising stock shrinkage.

Deliver exceptional customer service by implementing the company’s customer experience strategy.

Lead talent management including selection, training, coaching, retention, and recognition of team members.

Implement innovative visual merchandising strategies to optimise sales.

Ensure all company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards are adhered to.

Create a motivating and inspiring team environment aligned with company culture.

Support the development of a fun and engaging retail experience for both staff and customers.
