Job Purpose
The primary purpose of the Service Centre Clerk is to provide a comprehensive clerical service that ensures the effective and efficient administration of the Service Centre. You will act as the administrative backbone of the facility, managing critical data ranging from employee payroll inputs to inventory control, all while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Performance Areas & Responsibilities
1. HR Administration & Payroll Support

Time & Attendance: Action employee clocking data on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy before submission to the HR department for salary processing.

Query Resolution: Investigate and resolve all employee queries related to salaries, leave balances, and benefits for the warehouse staff.

Reporting: Compile detailed employee-related reports for the Line Manager to assist in workforce planning and performance tracking.
2. Operational & Inventory Administration

Inventory Control: Execute Service Centre inventory control and implement safekeeping practices to minimize loss and ensure stock accuracy.

Petty Cash: Manage petty cash administration, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled according to financial policies.

Systems Management: Utilize SAP systems to maintain records and manage administrative workflows within the warehouse environment.
3. Compliance & Customer Centricity

Health & Safety: Execute activities in strict compliance with relevant safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

Education: Grade 12 plus a Compulsory Tertiary Qualification in Human Resource Management or Business Administration.
