Key Responsibilities

Property Acquisition Policies & Compliance

  • Implement and maintain property acquisition policies, procedures, and strategies
  • Compile procurement submissions ensuring compliance with PFMA, lease policies, and delegations
  • Participate in compiling policy documents on acquisition of fixed assets
  • Compile intervention mechanisms on property acquisition

Property Acquisition Process

  • Implement the property acquisition process in line with the approved acquisition framework
  • Conduct client needs assessments and establish availability of funds for client departments
  • Make findings regarding offices and procured accommodation in line with client requirements

Administration & Monitoring of Procured Accommodation

  • Confirm if clients still need premises prior to contract expiration
  • Conduct new procurement processes where clients still need accommodation

General Administrative Support

  • Arrange meetings or workshops and prepare relevant documentation
  • Co-ordinate and monitor stakeholder attendance at strategic meetings

Minimum Requirements

  • NQF Level 6 (3-year) in Real Estate Management or related qualification — essential
  • Relevant experience in the field — essential
  • Valid driver’s licence — essential
  • Willingness to travel and adapt work schedule
