Position Overview
The Sales Representative: Parts will report directly to the Parts Manager and will play a key role in maintaining and expanding the dealership’s customer base. The successful candidate will focus on achieving sales targets, driving customer satisfaction, and ensuring the effective marketing, sales, and administration of automotive parts and accessories.
This position requires strong communication skills, exceptional customer service, and proven experience in parts counter sales.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Relationship Management

Achieve parts sales budget and targets through effective marketing initiatives.

Grow and maintain market share within the assigned area of responsibility.

Retain existing customers by delivering excellent customer service and support.

Introduce customers to new policies, promotions, and product offerings.

Maintain regular and helpful communication with all customers.
Operational Efficiency & Administration

Adhere to the Company Discount Policy at all times.

Ensure customer queries are handled efficiently and professionally.

Document and record all returned parts accurately.
-
Maintain clear, accurate, and timely completion of all documentation.

Operate part exchange, replacement, and reconditioning schemes according to company policy.
Teamwork & Dealership Support

Maintain effective communication with the Parts Manager and dealership staff.

Collaborate with all departments to support dealership goals.
-
Attend all required meetings, workshops, and training sessions.

Safeguard and maintain all company assets under your care in good working condition.
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 (Matric).
-
Parts Counter Sales experience – ESSENTIAL.
-
Clear Credit Record.

Toyota panel sales experience (advantage).
-
Excellent verbal communication skills.

Strong customer service orientation.

Computer literacy essential (MS Office and dealership systems).
