Position Overview

Lesaka Technologies is seeking a Sales Executive to join its Kazang Micro Merchant Division in Thaba Chweu, Mpumalanga. This role is ideal for a motivated, business-minded individual with a passion for technology, customer engagement, and sales excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring that Kazang’s fintech products reach merchants who need them most.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • Prospect and convert leads by demonstrating the value of Kazang’s fintech terminals and related services.

  • Conduct product installations and ensure devices are fully functional for customers.

  • Understand each client’s business needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer engagements.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to address client feedback and refine sales strategies.

  • Build strong relationships with informal vendors to expand market reach and product visibility.

  • Identify new business opportunities to increase market share within the informal sector.

  • Promote cross-selling and up-selling opportunities to maximize customer value.

  • Ensure that contracts and documentation are processed efficiently.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Sales (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Experience: Proven experience in sales, ideally within a product-driven or technical environment.

  • Technical Skills: Ability to install, troubleshoot, and demonstrate fintech devices.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to engage small business owners effectively.

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of customer needs, sales forecasting, and CRM systems.

  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • License: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
