Purpose of the Role

Key Responsibilities – Receptionist
Switchboard & Customer Communication
- Open the switchboard daily and manage all incoming calls professionally and efficiently.
- Answer all telephone calls promptly, direct calls to the relevant person or department, and take accurate, complete messages where required.

Office & Supplies Management
- Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies — monitoring stock levels, placing orders timeously, and preventing supply shortages.
- Manage the distribution of staff stationery fairly and accurately.

- Manage and keep notice boards current, relevant, and professionally presented.
Diesel Cards & Cash Management
- Manage diesel cards in line with company procedures — ensuring accurate record-keeping and appropriate distribution.

Staff Scheduling Awareness
- Maintain awareness of which managers and staff members are on lunch, leave, or sick leave at any given time.

Stock Participation
- Participate in perpetual stock takes as required by the branch management team.
Minimum Requirements – Receptionist
