Position Overview

The Provisioning Administration Clerk: Supervisor is responsible for managing stock and logistical administration, as well as overseeing building maintenance and facilities operations at the SA Army Armour Formation HQ.

This role ensures that all stock and inventory processes, as well as administrative and facilities management tasks, are executed efficiently and in line with SANDF standards. The successful candidate will maintain high-level accuracy, accountability, and compliance in all logistical and administrative functions.


Key Responsibilities

1. Stock Management & Administration

  • Receive and issue stock, and demand stock from the depot.

  • Capture all accounting actions on CALMIS.

  • Complete quality administration of demands and returns.

2. Facilities & Building Management

  • Maintain and manage buildings and facilities.

  • Assist in reporting breakages to ASB facility call desk and appoint contractors.

  • Log all building breakages in a register and escort contractors to the correct building.

  • Maintain records of all completed work and follow up on outstanding jobs.

  • Report irregularities such as stoppages or damages to the barrack clerk.

3. Key Control & Inventory

  • Manage key registers and ensure they are up to date.

  • Prepare and maintain inventories for all buildings.

  • Assist with the handing over and taking over of buildings.

4. Reporting & Compliance

  • Ensure all administrative and logistical processes comply with SANDF policies and standards.

  • Maintain accurate records of stock, facilities maintenance, and contractor work.


Minimum Requirements

Education & Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in office administration or logistical operations.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Computer literacy in CALMIS and general office software.

  • Strong logistical administration and analytical skills.

  • Knowledge of relevant policies and standards.

  • Attention to detail, organizational ability, and problem-solving skills.
