Position Overview
The Pilot (All Aircraft Fleets) position is a dynamic opportunity for experienced aviators who demonstrate exceptional skill, leadership, and professionalism in flight operations.
Reporting directly to the Fleet Captain or Chief Pilot, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating the aircraft safely and efficiently while assisting the Captain in all phases of flight, including pre-flight planning, navigation, communication, and crew coordination.
This role requires a highly disciplined and safety-focused professional who upholds aviation standards and represents the airline with pride and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- 
Safely operate the aircraft in accordance with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations and airline operational procedures.
 - 
Assist the Captain in managing all flight operations, including navigation, communication, and crew coordination.
 - 
Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure aircraft readiness.
 - 
Maintain accurate flight documentation and operational logs.
 - 
Monitor aircraft systems and ensure compliance with safety and efficiency protocols.
 - 
Maintain high levels of situational awareness and decision-making throughout flight operations.
 - 
Attend mandatory training sessions, safety briefings, and simulator checks.
 - 
Represent the airline professionally and provide excellent service to passengers and crew members.
 
Minimum Requirements
- 
Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
 - 
CAA Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
 - 
ATPL or Frozen ATPL certification.
 - 
Valid Instrument Rating.
 - 
South African citizenship is required.
 - 
Minimum 1,000 total flying hours.
 - 
At least 200 Multi-Engine hours.
 - 
Minimum 200 Turbine hours.
 - 
Previous advanced flight simulator training (FSTD) preferred.
 - 
Strong understanding of aviation safety, airspace regulations, and navigation procedures.
 - 
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a professional crew.
