Position Overview
AFGRI invites applications for 1 Parts Salesperson to be based in Grootvlei. This mid-level role is designed for candidates with experience in parts sales and administration, providing them the opportunity to manage stock, serve customers, and support operational efficiency in a busy parts department.
The role focuses on sales, stock control, customer engagement, and accurate administration, ensuring smooth operations at the branch level.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure stable stock availability by ordering in line with branch procedures.

Conduct regular stock counting and stocktaking.

Manage stock rotation, including old and new stock.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients.

Identify and resolve customer queries and complaints promptly.

Ensure accurate cash balancing and timely processing of payments.

Process sales and returns according to established procedures.

Comply with risk management and safety legislation requirements.

Maintain stock in a safe and organized condition.
Minimum Requirements
Essential:
-
Grade 12 certificate.
-
Minimum of 1 year sales and administration experience, with parts sales experience essential.

South African citizen.
Desirable:
-
Product knowledge in agricultural parts and equipment.

Computer literacy, especially MS Office.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Valid driverโs licence.
