Position Overview
CJD Bedfordview (KIA) is looking for a results-driven New Vehicles Sales Executive to join their team. Reporting directly to the New Vehicles Sales Manager, the successful candidate will drive sales, manage customer relationships, and achieve monthly sales targets, all while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
This role is ideal for someone with prior automotive sales exposure, strong communication skills, and a competitive mindset.
Key Responsibilities

Identify potential customers and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and events

Build and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences

Advise customers on vehicle features, specifications, pricing, and financing options

Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives tailored to operational needs

Manage customer expectations to ensure effective delivery of service

Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business

Achieve monthly sales targets by prospecting and converting new business opportunities

Participate in marketing and promotional campaigns to increase brand visibility

Attend sales meetings and training sessions to stay up to date on product knowledge and sales techniques

Maintain accurate records of all sales activity, customer interactions, and follow-ups

Handle objections, close deals, and exceed dealership expectations

Collaborate with team members to support overall department objectives
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 / Matric
-
3 years’ experience as a sales executive in the automotive industry

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets

Valid driver’s license

Clear criminal record

Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Computer literacy (MS Office and CRM systems)

Customer-focused with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of dealership policies, compliance regulations, and competitive motor industry trends

Experience in cold calling and client prospecting
Preference will be given to candidates aligned with Employment Equity policies.
