Job Description
The Motorbike Courier role at Ampath is far more than a standard delivery position. It is a responsibility rooted in precision, consistency, and reliability. In this role, you serve as the essential connection between our laboratories, healthcare facilities, clients, and the communities that depend on timely and accurate medical services.
Your primary duty is the safe transport of medical specimens, laboratory reports, and essential parcels using a motorbike or company vehicle. You will ensure proper handling of medical materials by following established procedures that protect specimen integrity, prevent contamination, and safeguard patient confidentiality.
You will also complete route sheets, maintain delivery logs, adhere to traffic laws, and respond to urgent call-outs when medical emergencies require rapid specimen transport. This role requires a service-focused mindset and an ability to adapt to changing circumstances, especially in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations.
