Position Overview

TWK Agri is seeking a skilled and dynamic Manager: Marketing to join the Corporate Services Division based in Piet Retief, Mpumalanga.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end coordination of promotional activities, sponsorships, corporate branding, and events, ensuring alignment with TWK’s corporate identity and strategic objectives. This role involves close collaboration with divisional teams to enhance brand visibility, maintain BEE compliance, and deliver impactful stakeholder engagement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing and Branding

  • Manage quotations, orders, invoicing, and payments for promotional items, corporate gifts, and branded materials.

  • Ensure all branding aligns with TWK’s Corporate Identity and reflects evolving marketing trends.

  • Drive brand consistency across divisions through coordinated marketing campaigns and brand representation.

Event and Sponsorship Management

  • Plan and oversee corporate events, activations, and sponsorships, including budgeting, venue booking, catering, and logistics.

  • Coordinate setup, allocation, inspection, and distribution of marketing materials.

  • Represent TWK Agri at corporate and sponsored events, enhancing brand exposure and reputation.

  • Administer sponsorship applications, payments, and promotional item distribution.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

  • Supervise and mentor the Marketing Officer and Marketing Clerk, ensuring efficient task allocation and scheduling.

  • Promote a collaborative, performance-driven team culture.

  • Facilitate cross-divisional cooperation to ensure cohesive marketing execution.

Compliance and Reporting

  • Coordinate Social and Economic Development (SED) initiatives and ensure accurate administrative reporting.

  • Manage BEE compliance using the BEE123 system and maintain alignment with relevant regulations.

  • Oversee marketing budgets and ensure responsible financial management.

Stakeholder and Supplier Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, service providers, and internal stakeholders.

  • Ensure cost-effective procurement and quality control of marketing materials.

  • Support the development and rollout of branding, promotional, and digital marketing projects.


Minimum Requirements

Essential:

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing operations, promotions, sponsorships, or event management.

  • Strong experience in branding coordination, invoicing, and marketing logistics.

  • Proven ability to manage suppliers, budgets, and multiple concurrent projects.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and exposure to BEE123 systems.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Valid Driver’s License (Code 08) and willingness to travel.

Advantageous:

  • Experience with marketing tools and digital platforms.

  • Prior experience in corporate branding or agricultural marketing environments.
