Position Overview
Pedros is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to support the Logistics Manager in overseeing fleet operations, transportation, inventory control, and distribution coordination. The role involves supervising staff, ensuring compliance with SOPs, and maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities

Drive Pedros People values and leadership principles throughout the logistics team

Manage drivers, assistants, and forklift operators, including shift rostering and addressing personnel shortages
-
Conduct monthly inspections on driver certifications and compliance
-
Supervise day-time loading tasks and manage insurance-related documentation
-
Maintain vehicle and forklift inspection sheets, maintenance registers, and fuel authorizations
-
Coordinate fleet maintenance and repair with service providers
-
Build and maintain a high-performance team, enforce disciplinary code, and conduct performance appraisals
-
Manage clock-in reports, investigate transgressions, and approve leave requests
-
Enforce uniform and safety policies for all logistics staff
-
Ensure timely deliveries and handle stock shortfalls or damages
-
Maintain excellent communication and customer service with stores
-
Provide after-hours assistance for truck breakdowns and coordinate fleet protection
-
Oversee Logistics Administrator and Fleet Controller duties and KPIs
-
Compile Daily Delivery Schedule for final approval by the Logistics Manager
Minimum Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
-
Minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience in logistics or supply chain operations
-
Knowledge of receiving, distribution, and fleet supervision procedures
-
Supply chain management, inventory control, and transportation coordination experience
-
Experience with logistics software, tracking systems, and inventory systems
-
Strong leadership, team management, numerical, and analytical skills
